Penketh and Great Sankey |

| Some 300 Parishioners lined up on the road by Penketh Library and at 10am marched up to St Mary’s Church half a mile away, led by the Phoenix trumpet and Silver Band. | |
| After a splendid service in the Church, the Procession went to the Cenotaph in Penketh Cemetery, after a short service Wreaths were laid, Warrington Mark 1178 laid by Mark Masons JE Walsh S Ward and G Bond. The Procession then moved to the Garden of Remembrance in the British Legion Grounds for a short Ceremony the Parade Dismissed at 1pm and all retired for refreshments. | |
